How to select 200KW Weifang series diesel generator sets:

 

1) Determination of the capacity of emergency diesel generators The rated capacity of emergency diesel generator sets is the 12h rated capacity after atmospheric correction. Its capacity should be able to meet the total calculated load of emergency electricity, and it should be verified according to the requirement that the generator capacity can meet the starting requirements of a single maximum capacity motor in the first-level load. Emergency generators generally use three-phase AC synchronous generators with a rated output voltage of 400V.
2) Determination of the number of emergency diesel generator sets When there are multiple generator sets in reserve, generally only one emergency diesel generator set is set. From the perspective of reliability, two units can also be selected for parallel power supply. The number of generator sets for emergency use should generally not exceed 3. When multiple units are selected, the units should try to use complete sets of equipment with the same model and capacity, similar voltage regulation and speed regulation characteristics, and the properties of the fuel used should be consistent to facilitate maintenance and shared spare parts. When there are two generator sets for emergency use, the self-starting device should enable the two units to serve as backup for each other, that is, after the mains power failure is confirmed after a delay, a self-starting command should be issued. If the first unit fails to start for three consecutive times, an alarm signal should be issued and the second diesel generator should be automatically started.
3) Selection of emergency diesel generators Emergency units should use high-speed, supercharged, low-fuel-consumption, and same-capacity diesel generator sets. High-speed supercharged diesel engines have a large single-unit capacity and occupy a small space; diesel engines are equipped with electronic or hydraulic speed control devices, and have better speed control performance; generators should use synchronous motors with brushless excitation or phase compound excitation devices, which are more reliable, have a low failure rate, and are more convenient for maintenance and repair; when the capacity of a single air conditioner or motor in the primary load is large, a generator set with third harmonic excitation should be selected; the units are installed on a common chassis with a shock absorber; a muffler should be installed at the exhaust pipe outlet to reduce the impact of noise on the surrounding environment.
4) Control of emergency diesel generator sets The control of emergency generator sets should have fast self-starting and automatic input devices. When the main power supply fails, the emergency unit should be able to start quickly and restore power supply. The allowable power-off time of the first-level load ranges from more than ten seconds to tens of seconds, which should be determined according to the specific situation. When the main power supply of an important project is cut off, the time should be determined by 3-5S to avoid the instantaneous voltage drop and the time when the city power grid is closed or the backup power supply is automatically put into use, and then the command to start the emergency generator set should be issued. It takes a period of time from the issuance of the command, the start of the unit, and the speed increase to the full load. Generally, large and medium-sized diesel engines also need pre-lubrication and warm-up processes to ensure that the oil pressure, oil temperature, and cooling water temperature during emergency loading meet the requirements of the factory product technical conditions; pre-lubrication and warm-up processes can be carried out in advance according to different situations. For example, emergency units for military communications, important foreign affairs activities of large hotels, large-scale mass activities at night in public buildings, and important surgical operations in hospitals should be in a pre-lubricated and warm-up state at ordinary times, so that they can start quickly at any time and minimize the power-off time. After the emergency unit is put into operation, in order to reduce the mechanical and current impact when the load is suddenly added, the emergency load is preferably increased in stages according to the time interval while meeting the power supply requirements. According to national standards and national military standards, the first allowable load of the automatic unit after successful self-start is as follows: for those with a rated power of no more than 250KW, the first allowable load is not less than 50% of the rated load; for those with a rated power of more than 250KW, it is in accordance with the factory product technical conditions.
